GUIDEBOOK TIPS: The historic, privately owned fishing village of Clovelly is a cobbled street set into a cliff side! A great walk down to the harbour with shops and tea rooms. There is also a fishermans cottage to walk around, a museum and an old church, a donkey sanctuary and a pottery workshop. There is a cost to get into the village – £7.25. You can get a land rover down to the harbour from the car park which is £2.50 per adult. The walk down is very steep and is a cobbled road so it’s not suitable for buggies but is ok if you have a backpack for carrying little ones! Beautiful views of the coast all the way down from the top to the bottom with plenty of photo opportunities. In the summer, you can also have a donkey ride!
