Favourite places to eat: St Albans – Tabure, is definitely our favourite and where we always go on ‘date nights’ or on a weekend afternoon with the baby: the food is delicious and I would recommend the sac Tava and Shepard’s salad.
The Beech House is very ‘buggy friendly’.
The Loft has a child friendly Sunday lunch every month and provide kids with entertainment (colouring in/ face painting etc).
Any other local tips?: The Food and drink festival is on during October and has lots of local business’s with lovely local produce on sale
Xmas market is down by the cathedral and they always have a tent for kids activities
The local market is on every Wednesday and Saturday, you can always get some great deals on fruit and veg around 5pm on a Wednesday (good for when you start to wean and purée everything)
There is a prosecco festival too!!!
If you are local to St Albans you can visit the Verulamium Museum for free!
