Favourite places to shop for your little guides: I do most of the kids shopping online but the shop I use a lot in our town is:

Beatitudes Dorking – A kids charity shop in dorking that is stocked full with clothes, baby equipment and toys. I always check there before buying anything new as it is so cost effective and the staff are wonderful.

Favorite classes or groups: Top Tots – A toddler group in Dorkings Baptist Church – held on Tuesday mornings with lots to do for little ones and friendly faces.

Small Fry toddler group – Held in Dorkings United Reformed Church on Wednesdays. They have lots to do for little ones.

Rhyme Time – Dorking library and Denbies Library – Great singing and music sessions for babies and pre schoolers. My children love these sessions and they are free.

Any other local tips?: Dorking is a great place to meet mums. There are so many baby and toddler groups around. Because of our busy schedule we don’t get to go to half of them but they are all fantastic.

Dorking is the perfect place for finding wonderful walks. It is an area of outstanding beauty so you will often find that mums are keen to get out and walk come spring and summer time.
